Little bits that don't warrant their own blog, but still warrant mentioning.
- I made a referral to Early Intervention for Grant's lack of speech yesterday. I'm totally okay with it, in fact it's a bit of a relief to have finally made a decision and acted on it. I've been mulling the idea for several months now, scoping out the language of the same aged kids in the nursery, chatting up my speech therapist friend. It was time for the referral or I was going to have regrets about waiting so long. I'll keep you posted.
- If you talk with Emma about next week, when we're gone, we're calling it the "Great Grandparent Adventure!!!!!" with lots of drama in your voice, like you're an announcer. She's totally excited about it.
- Emma is also practicing her vault and her floor routine. Can you tell we've been watching the same girl's gymnastics Olympic Trials over and over and over? She's in total awe of their dismounts. And the balance beam. And frankly, so am I.
- Grant can almost jump. He's been practicing, alot. He's got the bend the knees and shoot upward bit down, now he's working on getting both feet off the ground at the same time.
- The predicted weather for our vacation destination next week is: 75 degrees The current weather in my city: 106 degrees.

I didn't realize you were considering a referral for Grant, great job on being such a good advocate for him. For me it's always easier with other people's kiddos than my own. Keep me posted. And yay on the jumping, do you think he could come teach Drew?
