The Kitchen

My kitchen seems to be a metaphor for my life. To see the level of chaos in my life, simply glance into the kitchen. Today, you'll see all the dishes in the dishwasher but a pile of handwashing on the counter, waiting for me to carve out time to wash them. A pile of handwashing usually means I've chosen to eat lunch when the kids do instead of doing them while they eat. So today, I'd say life is pretty much under control, with just some low lying chaos. You know, the usual around here.
