Tidbits

- Last night was the first night in a week Grant didn't cough for half an hour at a time in the middle of the night

- After resting time yesterday I found Emma perched on the edge of Grant's toddler bed, patting his back gently and whispering "Time to wake up Buggy". Too sweet.

-Grant's vocabulary has taken another tremendous leap and he's predicting what is going to happen next in a book, telling me his favorite page before we start reading, and actually mentioning classmates by name when telling me all about his preschool day.

- Emma's imagination and the elaborate scenes she sets up with Polly Pockets continue to amaze me. They do shows, they sing songs, and they go on vacations. Lucky Polly Pockets.

-I totally didn't have Emma's comforter on crooked for over a week. It totally wasn't super short on the sides and way long on the ends.

-I took another cooking class at the Co-op last night. This one was on chicken. The recipes were incredibly delicious and super quick and easy. This family is going to be eating a LOT of chicken this week.

- Grant's room has been completely purged of anything baby. I gave away all his cloth diapers, the diaper pail, I've emptied the drawers of baby blankets and burp clothes, we flipped over his changing table and have it set as a dresser now, the baby toys are out and the big kid toys are in. The rocking chair is gone. His twin bed comforter has arrived, I have paint samples hanging on the wall, and we're close to deciding on a book shelf for the living room so the books can move out of Grant's room. Lots of change going on.
