While driving in the car today:
E: Mom, do your legs ever get tired of pedaling?
Me: When I'm riding my bike?
E: No right now.
Me: Right now? I'm riding in the car, not pedaling.
E: No you're pedaling. Pedaling to make the car go.
Then it dawns on me that we've been talking recently about how I use the pedals to make the car go. So basically, she thinks I'm up in the front pedaling my little heart out to get the car to go. A la Fred Flinstone. No wonder she told me yesterday that you have to be VERY strong to drive a car!!!
